Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

A Family’s Heartbreak, LLC announced today that Dadsdivorce.com is now selling A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation, at its website store — http://www.dadsdivorce.com/component/ixxocart/?p=catalog&parent=7&pg=1.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for A Family’s Heartbreak,” says Mike Jeffries, the book’s author. “Dadsdivorce.com is a premier online resource for men going through divorce. Since Dads can be both the alienating parent and the targeted parent, the chance to expand the reach of our book through Dadsdivorce.com will hopefully help Dads, Moms and children avoid this emotionally destructive family dynamic.”

A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation is the true story of one parent’s struggle to maintain a normal relationship with his young son in the face of overwhelming odds. Dr. Richard Warshak, author of Divorce Poison: Protecting the Parent-Child Bond from a Vindictive Ex, called A Family’s Heartbreak, “a provocative and compelling account of the destruction of a parent-child relationship and the legal system’s complicity in the process.”

Dadsdivorce.com was founded by Joseph E. Cordell for the purpose of informing fathers about their rights during divorce litigation, while providing them with concrete, practical resources to achieve the best results in the courtroom. Tens of thousands of visitors browse the site every month.

DadsDivorce.com: Suggest A Family’s Heartbreak to a Friend

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

The overwhelmingly positive feedback for A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation continues to roll in.

Dads.Divorce.com’s review of A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation indicates the book will “resound in a particularly comforting and familiar way to a targeted parent as Jeffries describes the warning signs that he unwittingly dismissed during the marriage… the particulars of increasingly dysfunctional relations within the fractured family, and the desperation of a parent powerless to intercede and stop the abuse.”

DadsDivorce.com’s Rick Ortiz also said, “Jeffries handles the difficult subject with a mastery that comes from not only his personal experience but also his professional understanding of how to make the incomprehensible as clear as it can be.  Suggest this book to a friend who doesn’t know where to go for help.”

Must See Internet TV

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

The DadsDivorce.com podcast on parental alienation and our book, A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation has been up at www.dadsdivorce.com for only a couple of days and has already received more than 200 hits.

I was very impressed with host Rick Ortiz and the quality of the production.  Rick knew his topic and the production values are as good as anything you’ll see on TV.  The 30 minute program covers a lot of ground — parental alienation from each family member’s perspective to the role of the courts in alienation cases.  We even talked about how A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation went from an idea to a book.

DadsDivorce.com to highlight A Family’s Heartbreak

Monday, May 11th, 2009

DadsDivorce.com ( http://www.dadsdivorce.com) will feature A Family’s Heartbreak: A Parent’s Introduction to Parental Alienation and Author Mike Jeffries in a Podcast that will be posted to its site on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

DadsDivorce.com is a website devoted to informing fathers about their rights during divorce litigation while providing them with concrete practical resources to achieve the best results in the courtroom. Over the years, DadsDivorce has grown into a popular meeting place for fathers facing divorce and subsequent litigation. Every month, tens of thousands of visitors browse the DadsDivorce.com site to conduct research and obtain advice.

As we’ve said many times, neither fathers or mothers have cornered the market on the unhealthy emotional needs that drive a parent to alienate a child from the child’s other parent. Moms and Dads are both the alienating parent and the targeted parent in equal numbers.  Our goal during our DadsDivorce.com appearance is to help anyone dealing with parental alienation and educate parents, the legal and mental health communities about an issue that is ripping apart parents and children.

We look forward to appearing on any Mom divorce-focused websites to help their site visitors and spread the same message.
